Short
Term Projects:
1. KDP is partnering with SUEA for a "Celebration of Reading." We will be collecting books to donate to the Children
in Need and Chambersburg Pediatrics Unit. Our goal is to collect 300 books between our two organizations. Please help by donating
5 books. **You can go to the thrift stores in town and get books for 25 cents each.** We really hope to meet our goal; help
make this possible! (Short term) The collection will run through February 18th.
2. Hat and Mitten
drive for Project Share. Please donate a hat and mitten set for those in need. Donations will be accepted till February 18th.

3. Cards and donations for soldiers. Create 5 cards to send to the soldiers overseas or bring in $5.00
worth of items. The collection will run through February 18th. (Short term) (gum, mints, snack mixes, beef jerky, playing
cards, magazines, crossword puzzle books, sunflower seeds, tooth brushes, toothpaste, hot chocolate, newspaper, baby wipes,
board games, notepads, pens, etc.)
